Lucas Z. Lund, DO

Lucas Z. Lund, DO, holds board certifications in both Family Practice and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993, and completed an internship year in obstetrics and gynecology, then a residency in family practice.
Dr. Lund gathered a wide variety of experience in family practice for 29 years, working across the country in civilian and federal settings before completing his hospice and palliative medicine fellowship in 2024. He comes to Summit Medical Consultants from his most recent roost in California, where he provided outpatient and inpatient palliative care.


Listening to patients and their loved ones, and providing care tailored to each patient’s goals as if they were his friends or family matters the most to Dr. Lund.


In his spare time Dr. Lund enjoys playing several musical instruments with variable skill, walking, cycling as his sciatica allows, laughter, and time with people he loves, especially his wife.
