Jessica Light, AGNP-BC

Jessica Light earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, where she specialized in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care.

Jessica became a nurse practitioner to advocate for her patients and help older adults navigate today’s complex healthcare system. She values building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, empowering them to understand their health and actively participate in their individualized plan of care.

For more than five years, Jessica has provided compassionate, evidence-based care in skilled nursing facilities as part of Summit Medical Consultants. In addition to her clinical practice, she now serves as the Clinical Practice and Quality Advancement Lead, a role that enables her to continue caring for patients while collaborating with Summit’s leadership team to enhance clinical processes and elevate the quality of care across the organization.

Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jessica fell in love with Colorado while visiting a friend in Denver. Drawn by her passion for the mountains and the outdoors, she relocated in 2020 and has been exploring the state ever since. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, skiing, and spending time in nature.
